Sorry for the blogging laps....

This is what I wish I was doing right now:

Taking a warm bubble bath
Reading my favorite book
Watching all the Episodes of Gilmore Girls and Bones
Painting my toe nails
Shaving my legs
Doing my hair
Going on a run

This is what I am doing:

Getting school stuff together - Student teaching in 6th grade at PMS
Thinking about school
Thinking about the big move we will make sometime this year
Wishing I could be done in December and not March.
Loving my husband with my whole heart
Thanking God for my incredible life
Learning to be thankful for everyday
Learning that not everything is about me
Feeling overwhelemed about school

Common theme: School is overwhelming me but God is good.

Please pray for me as I start a new school year with 6th graders. My desire is to touch their hearts, change their lives and show them what a great thing life and education is. I pray that I will not be too nervous or anxious to do the job I know I can do with the mighty hand of God by my side.

I wish I had something of interest to blog so that you could all read it.......however, I don't. I am currently in summer term. blah. Linguistics 315, Political Science 202 and Art. Just finishing up pre reqs so I can actually graduate someday..........that would be nice.

In the past two weeks:

1) I have continued to despise school
2) I taught my last day of kindergarten
3) Two of my friends had babies
4) God has been awesome
5) Homework never ends....

:)

And then things happen......

Friday is my last day of work at the most wonderful company in the world.

Friday: Possible case of Swine flu on WOU campus....CLOSE ALL SCHOOLS _ EVERYONE GET OUT_RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!

Monday: School Cancelled - we all might get swine flu and die - waiting to hear if it went from "probable" to "certain"

Monday afternoon: Student at WOU confirmed to have Swine Flu.

Monday Evening: WOU re-opens.

Can someone explain??
